Powder pink.

I woke up very early today. My fiancee and cat were sleeping, so I din not want to wake them up.
The best way to spend some time in quiet for me is to do something useful. Such as these little things.
I have no idea where will I use them. They will look good as a brooch and as headband as well. Or as a part of my bridal bouquet?

Keeping it casual

Next headband is for everyday use. I had some extra fabric from old shirt, so I decided to recycle it into, of course, headband.
First, I've put strip of fabric on a base of headband. Then I added a flower.
Really easy, but looks cute. Don't you think?

Braided and stripperd scarfs

Ever since I found this tutorial I wanted to do something similar. So I found some t-shirts I wasn't gonna to wear anymore and gave it a shot.
First scarf I made for myself:

It isn't perfect, but making it was fun, so I did two others:
This one has a brooch, which can be taken off.

The other one is quite simple:

Once again, sorry for the quality of a photos. They were taken quite late and the light was poor.
Special thanks to my friend Magda for being such a great model for the purpose of this post :)

"Tango" headband

One time I stumbled upon red satin ribbon with wire and before I've noticed, I started making flowers. I thought it will look cool on a headband, so I've placed them on a felt and glued it to the base of head band. This is the effect.
Sorry for the quality of the photo- I had to make it fast and the light was far from perfect.
This time no Samba. However, she helped me with utilizing the wire ;)

Hello World :)

So, here I am. Simple girl from Szczecin, who does funny things in her free time.
All of this 'madness' had begun, when I wanted to give headband with butterfly as a birthday present to my fiancee's niece.
I was looking all over the Internets, but I couldn't find anything, what I imagined. So, I decided to do this myself.

First version wasn’t that great for the headband. It was too heavy.
But it makes cute brooch :)

Finally, I've come to that:
Soo, as the gift was a success, I've decided, that I will try do another thing.
I had some space polyester fabric, and I thought, that it will be fun, to try some techniques I've looked up on Youtube.
Here's the first batch of many brooches I've made so far.
As you maybe have noticed, I always have a little help from my cat, Samba :)
Brooches and head bands are the things I'm working on now.
Hope, I will show you them soon.
